Solomon Islands: Electricity Access Expansion Project (TA)
Overview
In 2014 GPOBA provided funding to a technical assistance study to look into the possibility of providing subsidy to low income households in peri‐urban and rural areas of Solomon Islands.
Status
The follow-on subsidy project has just been approved to support increased electricity access through grid extension and the development of mini-grids, looking to directly benefit approximately 14,250 people.
